This year e-tid has launched a series of live webcasts - e-tid webtalks. The e-tid webtalks will be short and sharp and will look at key industry topics that are current and that everyone is talking about. The web-talks are free to view.
Our most recent webtalk looked at the impact the new Bribery Act will have on the travel industry. The Act is designed to bring the UK in line with international anti-corruption legislation. Under the powers granted by the new law prosecutors, essentially the Serious Fraud Office, they will be able to prosecute both domestic and foreign companies, providing they have some presence in the UK. Bribes committed in the UK and abroad could be prosecuted under the Act. To watch this webtalk click here
