THE BRITISH TRAVEL PRESS AWARDS
The British Travel Press Awards is a prestigious national awards programme created to recognise excellence and achievement within the fields of travel writing, photography and broadcasting in both trade and consumer press.
The 2013 British Travel Press Awards will take place on Wednesday 20 November, at RIBA (the Royal Institute of British Architects), Portland Place, London. The Awards will be presented in an early evening cocktail party with drinks from 6.45 pm, the awards ceremony at 7.30pm followed by a networking drinks reception.
Nominations to the British Travel Press Awards will open soon and are welcomed from anyone working in the UK travel industry and from travel editors, writers, photographers and broadcasters.

THE AWARDS PROCESS
Stage 1: Nominations
- Nominations were accepted in all Award categories from anyone working in the UK travel industry and the UK travel trade, online, consumer and broadcast press; and self-nominations will be welcome too
Stage 2: Submissions
- Kingley contacted all nominees to invite them to submit Work for the relevant Award category
Stage 3: Judging
- Expert panels of independent judges reviewed the Work submitted and select the Winners
2012 KEY DATES:

7 September - Closing date for Submissions of Work
4/5 October - Judging panel meets
16 October - Finalists announced
21 November - Awards Ceremony
