Welcome to the 16th Agent Achievement Awards
The Agent Achievement Awards is the UK’s leading travel agent national awards programme, now celebrating its 16th year, created to recognise and honour excellence and achievement in retail and online travel agents throughout the UK.
The 2012 Agent Achievement Awards ceremony will be returning to the Lancaster London Hotel in London on 26 March 2012.
The Awards attract some of the UK’s top performing agents from the independent and multiple sectors, so if your business supports the agent route to market you should be attending!

The Principals’ Awards to agents are presented both nationally and regionally along with 6 Industry Awards covering sectors such as Homeworker and Call Centres; in addition Awards will be presented to 3 individuals in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the retail travel sector.

THE AWARDS PROCESS
The UK Principals' Awards
Stage 1: Nominations
- Nominations will be accepted from all Suppliers and Principals in the UK travel trade industry
- All nominations will be verified by the organisers to ensure the nominees are in the correct category representing the trading region and size of each agent
- Stage 2: Voting
- A Voting Paper including all eligible and verified nominations in the regional and national Awards will be sent to Principals and Suppliers with each trading company entitled to one vote
- The Votes are counted by the independent law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse
The UK Industry Awards
Stage 1: Nominations
- Nominations will be accepted from all Suppliers and Principals in the UK travel trade industry
- Retail, Online and Call Centre travel agents may self-nominate in the Industry Awards’ categories
Stage 2: Submissions
- All nominees in the Industry Awards will be invited to present a Written Submission
Stage 3: Judging of the Industry Awards
- An expert panel of independent travel industry judges will review the Written Submissions and select the Winners in the Travel Promotion / Innovation and also the Travel Website Award categories
- Interviews will be conducted with the short-listed entrants in the individual People Awards’
categories
